The Xi'an Dayan Pagoda Music Fountain Square is located at the foot of the famous Dayan Pagoda, on the central axis of the North Square. It is 350 meters long from north to south and 52 meters wide from east to west. It is divided into three areas: a hundred meter waterfall pool, an eight level drop pool, and a front end music pool. It can be performed independently or as a whole in different zones. The music fountain is grand in scale, overflowing with radiance and beauty. The fountain design includes an eight level fountain array with 1024 nozzle points, each nozzle being independently controlled by a water pump and a frequency converter. There are a total of 22 independent water types designed for music fountains, all of which are the latest high-tech innovative water types launched in China.

The large laser water curtain, which is 60 meters wide and 20 meters high, and four fire fountains erupt from the water, fully burning at a low temperature and exploding at an altitude of 6 meters, further increasing the breathtaking atmosphere of the entire fountain. There are a total of 1360 water pumps, 1124 frequency converters, over 3300 colored lights, and over 2000 nozzles in the fountain. The lighting of the fountain adopts underwater buried lights, LED light strips, and shore computer lights with multiple light sources for illumination. Xi'an Dayan Pagoda Music Fountain is open all day, with a performance time of 20 minutes. Usually, there are two performances every day, at 12:00 and 20:30 (winter) and 21:00 (summer) respectively; There are five events every day during holidays, with the time being 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 18:00, and 20:30 (winter) and 21:00 (summer).
