There is a moment at every large festival, grand opening, or city celebration where someone walks up to a wall of falling water, sees a film projected on it, and stops. They tilt their head. They walk closer. They pull out their phone.
That moment is the entire reason water screen film fountains exist.
But most buyers do not realize that a "water screen film" is not a screen you buy off the shelf. It is a carefully engineered system where the screen itself is made of water — and getting that water to behave like a screen requires solving five physics problems at once.

At the simplest level: a high-pressure pump pushes water through a precisely shaped nozzle, creating a smooth arc or fan of water in the air. A projector (or multiple projectors) throws images onto that water. The water acts as a semi-transparent projection surface.

Daytime and dusk shows need much brighter projectors than night shows. If your show runs at sunset, plan for 30,000+ lumens.
A 5m fan nozzle throws a lot of water. Where does it go? You need a collection basin, drainage pump, and often water treatment if you are recirculating.
A high-power submersible pump is loud. If your audience sits within 20 meters, you will need acoustic shielding.
Real water screen shows need at least 2 days of on-site testing. The supplier who promises "plug and play in 1 day" is lying.

Work with a manufacturer who has built them at your scale, in your climate, with content similar to what you want to show. The cheapest quote will rarely be the cheapest project.
